" February 3, 2009...During the recent snow storm, an awning purchased from Pike in 2004 was damaged and torn from its wall mounting at my home... I contacted Pike for an evaluation of the damage and , when weather permitted, a crew was dispatched and the awning was taken to your shop for repair. I subsequently spoke with you by telephone and was informed  that the awning should have been installed more securely back in 2004 and that , therefore, Pike would repair and reinstall it free of charge.
